Vendosni maskën mbi fytyrë dhe sigurohuni që të jetë e mbyllur gjatë thithjes.
Shtypni MDI-në dhe sigurohuni që pacienti të thithë ngadalë. Nëse dëgjoni fishkëllimën e sinjalit të rrjedhjes, atëherë thithja duhet të ngadalësohet. Gjatë thithjes normale, treguesi i thithjes duhet të lëvizë drejt pacientit.
Maska duhet të vendoset mbi fytyrën e pacientit për 5-6 frymëmarrje pas dhënies së një thithjeje.
